Commemoration of the liberation of the stranded train
On the occasion of the 78th commemoration day of the liberation of the “Stranded Train” on April 13, 1945 at the railroad tracks in Farsleben, Mrs. Pilz leads interested citizens to the memorial stone in Farsleben and to the Farsleben cemetery. Afterwards, guests of the event can attend a guided tour of the exhibition “April 13, 1945 – The Stranded Train of Farsleben” at the Wolmirstedt Museum.
The silhouette film “Stranded” by Robert Hirschmann will also be shown on this day. A brochure accompanying the exhibition is available in the museum store.
