The term “municipal heat planning” is a technical term. It describes a planning process. In this process, the current status of energy supply and energy consumption for Wolmirstedt is first recorded. The next step is to consider how both can be made climate-neutral. This includes renovations on the one hand and changes to heating systems and energy sources on the other. <\/p>\n

The municipal heat planning therefore shows how Wolmirstedt can be supplied with heating and hot water in the future – reliably, climate-friendly and affordably. The aim is to find good solutions for all parts of the town and districts: for residential buildings, businesses, public buildings and new development areas <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Heating with oil or natural gas becomes expensive in the long term and harms the climate. Germany has decided to be climate-neutral by 2045. Heat planning helps to find new ways – with energy sources that are clean and can be used locally. With municipal heat planning, Wolmirstedt can plan and implement the steps towards climate neutrality in 2045. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

<\/i><\/span><\/i><\/span>Who creates the plan?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

The town of Wolmirstedt commissioned the engineering firm ETA-E and Bio-W\u00e4rme-Innovation GmbH to draw up a municipal heating plan. Both offices have a great deal of experience in the field of climate-friendly heat supply. The contract is 90% funded by the federal Climate and Transformation Fund. The municipality bears 10% of the costs. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

The heating plan will be completed by March 2026. By law, it must be available by mid-2028<\/strong> at the latest. After that, the actual work on site will begin. Precise steps will be planned and implemented together with companies, owners and citizens. This will take several years. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>
