The new farmers’ housing estate in the Wolmirstedt district of Elbeu can look forward to a modern and fully developed road. Thanks to funding from the regional rural development program of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, the project was successfully implemented. The town of Wolmirstedt had applied for and received the maximum amount of 350,000 euros from the funding pot. <\/p>

As part of the construction work, 1,200 square meters of concrete paving were laid, a 150-meter-long rainwater drain was installed and seven energy-saving LED lights were installed. In addition, old overhead pylons were removed and the telecom lines were laid underground. <\/p>

Some final work is still outstanding: A total of twelve new trees will be planted, including four ornamental cherries, four sweet cherries and four column hornbeams, which will further embellish the streetscape.<\/p>

The new road not only significantly improved the infrastructure, but also made an important contribution to the modernization of the Elbeu district.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
