Mayoral election 2025 in Wolmirstedt: City organizes election forum with all three candidates<\/h2>\n\n

An important election is looming in Wolmirstedt: on Sunday, September 7, 2025, the citizens of the town center and its districts who are eligible to vote will decide who will become the new mayor. Mathias Knispel (AfD), Mike Steffens (KWG) and Steffen Steinhagen (SPD) have applied for the office of mayor – their applications have already been confirmed as legitimate by the town election committee. <\/p>\n\n

So that voters can get an idea of the three candidates, the town of Wolmirstedt is organizing an election forum on Wednesday, 3 September, in the museum barn on the castle grounds. The event starts at 6 pm, admission is from 5.30 pm. At the election forum, the three candidates will not only be introduced, but will also answer questions. Questions to the candidates can be sent in advance to the city election officer at the e-mail address wahlen@stadtwolmirstedt.de<\/a> or written on a small card and dropped into an urn at the information point in the town hall. <\/p>\n\n

The City of Wolmirstedt would like to point out that photos and video recordings will be made at the election forum – among other things for the purpose of broadcasting the election forum live on the Internet. The live stream can be viewed at the time of the election forum on the YouTube platform at https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@wolmirstedt<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
