It was collected at the Wolmirstedt City Festival 2025. The reason was a city bet: the city councillors and Mayor Marlies Cassuhn had been asked to collect at least 1016 euros in donations. Some of the 28 members of Wolmirstedt&#8217;s town council really went all out and won the bet. They collected almost 1500 euros, which were then handed over to the betting partner, the Wolmirstedt youth fire department.    <\/p>\n\n<p>The youth fire department has now expressed its gratitude. &#8220;Thank you to the city administration for the bet idea, thank you to the city council for the collection and a big thank you to the citizens for their willingness to donate.
