Many children and their families attended this year’s St. Martin’s festival at the castle domain in Wolmirstedt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in previous years, it was organized in cooperation with the “Storchennest” daycare centre, the St. Katharinen Protestant daycare centre, the integrative after-school care centre of the Bodelschwingh-Haus Wolmirstedt Foundation and the town of Wolmirstedt. As dusk fell, the young visitors gathered with their colorful lanterns, some of which they had creatively made themselves, and lit up the castle grounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wolmirstedt Canoe Club took care of the catering and the duo “Handgemacht” provided the musical accompaniment to the event. The organizers were particularly pleased that many participants once again took part in the “Share like Saint Martin” campaign and donated to a good cause – namely the Magdeburg Children’s Hospice. This raised a great sum of money, which will be handed over in the next few days. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
