{"id":31385,"date":"2026-09-07T18:46:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T16:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stadtwolmirstedt.de\/wolmirstedt-cleans-up\/"},"modified":"2026-09-07T18:48:31","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T16:48:31","slug":"wolmirstedt-cleans-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stadtwolmirstedt.de\/en\/wolmirstedt-cleans-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Wolmirstedt Cleans Up"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Wolmirstedt is cleaning up\u2014join in!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mayor Calls for a City Cleanup Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the slogan \u201cWolmirstedt Cleans Up\u2014Join In!\u201d, the town of Wolmirstedt cordially invites its residents to participate in a cleanup event scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. The meeting point is behind City Hall starting at 8:30 a.m. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal is to collect trash and debris in downtown Wolmirstedt. \u201cTogether, we want to keep our town clean,\u201d says Mayor Mike Steffens, calling on residents to get involved. Clubs, apartment complexes, hobby groups, work colleagues, and similar groups are also encouraged to participate in the cleanup day. The various neighborhoods are likewise invited to clean up their own areas.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants should please bring their own gloves. The city will provide trash bags and trash pickers. At the start of the cleanup day, the city will also assign the specific routes to be cleaned.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll hardworking trash collectors will be treated to a sausage and a drink afterward,\u201d the mayor promises. \u201cWe\u2019re happy to welcome every participant to our community-driven town of Wolmirstedt!\u201d To help with planning, the town asks that you register for the cleanup by emailing <a href=\"mailto:veranstaltung@stadtwolmirstedt.de\">veranstaltung@stadtwolmirstedt.de<\/a>.
