Public guided tour of the stranded train exhibition

A guided tour of the exhibition “April 13, 1945 – The stranded train from Farsleben” will take place at the Wolmirstedt Museum. Using unique photographs and drawings, the museum director explains the circumstances and facts surrounding the liberation of over 2,500 Jewish prisoners from the Zug concentration camp in Farsleben by US troops. Among other things, personal fates and life stories are presented. In addition to interviews with contemporary witnesses, the silhouette film “Stranded” by Robert Hirschmann will also be shown on this day. Prior registration is requested.
