Entry in the “Golden Book” of the town of Wolmirstedt
To mark his 100th birthday, Otto Zeitke entered his name in the “Golden Book” of the town of Wolmirstedt on 28.11.2024.
Many guests were invited to this festive event, including the circle of friends of the Kremkau family as well as Mr. Kirchner and Mrs. Seidel. Numerous anecdotes from the life of the jubilarian were told at the lovingly laid coffee table, which were both amusing and thought-provoking.
The moment when the mayor read a story from Isabell Allende’s book “Aphrodite” at the request of the jubilarian was particularly touching. The story captivated those present and created a wonderful atmosphere of community and appreciation.
The joy at the lively state of the 100-year-old Wolmirsted resident was clear to see on the faces of the guests. Otto Zeitke is not just a contemporary witness, but a living symbol of Wolmirstedt’s history and community.
