25 years of Don Bosco: Curative education center celebrates anniversary with colorful party
Wolmirstedt’s mayor Marlies Cassuhn was recently invited to a colorful celebration: The “Don Bosco” curative education center was celebrating its 25th birthday. The new building of the Caritas facility was inaugurated in 2000.
Today, it includes two curative education residential groups with a total of 18 places in the home and 8 day care places in the day group. In order to provide adequate care for the children and young people who live and are cared for at “Don Bosco”, 24 employees work at the home.
The anniversary of the facility was celebrated under the motto “funfair”. There were well-known fairground games and food, and staff dressed up to match the theme. Children and young people performed a program. The special day was organized with a lot of love and passion.
Marlies Cassuhn presented a gift and conveyed congratulations from the town of Wolmirstedt to facility manager Doreen Rosenberger. At the same time, she expressed her gratitude that such an important social institution is located in Wolmirstedt and wished the entire team continued creativity and patience for their extremely important job.
