Preparations for Advent: Christmas tree on the castle grounds is up
Advent is fast approaching – the town of Wolmirstedt is currently preparing for the pre-Christmas period. While the program for the Advent market, which takes place from 28 to 30 November on the castle grounds, has been finalized, everything is now being festively prepared. For example, the employees of the building yard recently put up a Christmas tree on the castle grounds.
The tree, which is more than eight meters tall, comes from a public green space in the city, was sawn down at its location and transported by crane. It will be decorated in the coming days. On Tuesday, November 25, the even larger Christmas tree will also be put up on the boulevard. It will be donated by a family from Farsleben. However, the construction work on August-Bebel-Straße has to be completed first. A district heating pipe is expected to be laid there until November 21. The Christmas lights on the boulevard will also be gradually installed over the next few days.
