The city of Wolmirstedt with its districts Elbeu, Farsleben, Glindenberg and Mose is located only a few kilometers north of the state capital Magdeburg between the Magdeburger Börde and Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide and belongs to the district Börde. Today, around 12,300 inhabitants live here in the corner between the Ohre and Elbe rivers. You can reach Wolmirstedt via the nearby A14/A2 freeways and subsequently via the B189 from Magdeburg or Stendal, or by train using the S-Bahn service close to the city.
To strengthen our team in the Regulatory Services department, we are looking for you as a new colleague for the permanent full-time position as soon as possible
Clerk for regulatory field service (m/f/d)
with an average weekly working time of 39 hours. The current remuneration is in accordance with TVöD-VKA in pay group 5. A job evaluation still has to be carried out for this position, which may result in a higher pay group.
What tasks in particular await you?
Tasks in regulatory field and office work:
- Determination of administrative offenses,
- Initiation and implementation of alternative measures on the basis of the SOG LSA to avert dangers posed by vehicles parked in violation of regulations,
- Monitoring compliance with the municipal bylaws (e.g. street cleaning bylaws, special use bylaws) and the city’s hazard prevention regulations and their enforcement,
- Preparation of justifications as part of the further processing of transactions in the internal service, including activities in the context of general security,
- Administrative assistance for other specialist services of the city administration in the field,
- Citizen service and complaint management, e.g. answering citizens’ inquiries in the office and in the field,
- Processing the registration, de-registration and re-registration of dogs; maintaining and updating the central Saxony-Anhalt dog register, including decisions on the initiation of administrative offense proceedings,
- Execution of misdemeanor proceedings until handover to the fines office,
- the wearing of uniforms in the field,
- Indoor and outdoor work with flexible working hours within the framework of duty rosters with staggered working hours, if necessary also in the evening and on weekends,
- Driving a company car (passenger car),
- familiarize themselves independently and continuously with the legal issues in their area of responsibility and apply or implement these in practice,
- Assertiveness in dealing with citizens’ concerns with regard to compliance with legal regulations as well as commitment and reliability.
What should you bring with you?
As a prerequisite:
o a degree as an administrative assistant or an employee training course | or as a legal assistant or a comparable completed vocational training course with a focus on legal issues, which qualifies you to perform the above-mentioned tasks,
o general knowledge of road traffic law (including StVO),
o at least a class B driving license,
o knowledge of PC technology and MS Office programs

o that you have the motivation and ability to familiarize yourself with the conditions and requirements on site and to acquire new knowledge and experience
o knowledge of the OWiGWARE program
o knowledge of the LSA Dog Law and the central dog register
