Dear citizens,
The Christmas season invites us to pause for a moment. Christmas stands for solidarity and being there for one another. The contemplative time draws our attention to what unites us. We are all citizens of this beautiful town – our Wolmirstedt and the districts of Elbeu, Farsleben, Glindenberg and Mose. That alone unites us and brings us closer together.
Especially in a time full of challenges, it is clear how important togetherness, mutual respect and solidarity are in our city. My heartfelt thanks go to all those who work with great commitment for the good of our town, be it in voluntary work, in clubs, in social facilities, care homes, doctors’ surgeries, daycare centers and schools, but above all in the fire department, police or rescue services. Their commitment makes Wolmirstedt a strong and liveable place.
May the coming holidays bring you and your families peace, warmth and confidence. I wish you a relaxing holiday season, good health and many positive moments in the new year.
