The Farsleben local fire department held its annual general meeting on March 28 – at the same time, the Förderverein Farsleben e.V. held its annual general meeting. Wolmirstedt’s mayor Mike Steffens was able to attend and took the opportunity to thank the comrades and their families for their outstanding voluntary work.
Clemens Mayr was especially honored for 10 years and Michael Langrock for 30 years of membership in the volunteer fire department. Larissa Wolff and Vanessa Mayr as well as Loris Wolff and Michael Knackmuß were promoted. In addition to section chief Dirk Bischoff, representatives from the Wolmirstedt, Glindenberg and Mose local fire departments also attended the event, impressively demonstrating the cohesion in the region.
The town of Wolmirstedt congratulates all those honored and promoted and thanks the volunteer firefighters and members of the support association for their tireless work, which is so important and irreplaceable for the common good in the town and its districts.
