The budget of the town of Wolmirstedt came into force on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. It had previously been confirmed by the municipal supervisory authority of the Börde district and then announced.
After a marathon consultation in January and February, the budget was finally adopted by the city council on February 19. The budget shows a deficit of around 800,000 euros. However, this planned deficit can be offset by an existing ordinary
earnings reserve of over 9 million euros from previous years.
