The “Johannes Gutenberg” all-day school celebrated a special anniversary. The Wolmirstedt school has been in existence for 45 years.
To mark the occasion, the pupils, teachers, parents and many other guests enjoyed a day full of games, fun and lots of good humor as well as an extensive program.
Wolmirstedt’s mayor Mike Steffens gladly accepted the invitation to the school festival and was able to open the event together with the principals Judith Hubold (principal of the community school) and Doreen Haensch (principal of the elementary school). He then took a look at the various stands that pupils and school staff had prepared and managed together. Mike Steffens was once again impressed by the high quality of the school landscape in Wolmirstedt and emphasized that the Gutenberg School in its current form and with its current educational concept belongs to the town and must be retained at all costs.
