Swimming pool remains closed

Wolmirstedt swimming pool remains closed for the time being

The town of Wolmirstedt regrets to announce that its municipal swimming pool will have to remain closed for the time being. The pool actually opens every year on May 15. This date had already been postponed, but now has to be postponed again. The swimming pool is not expected to open until mid-June.

The reason for this is delivery problems, which have extremely delayed the urgent replacement of the pump system. This could not have been foreseen when planning the pump expansion. Although the pumps have now been installed, follow-up work must now be carried out. This includes wiring the entire electrical system, installing new control units and more. This takes time, but the town of Wolmirstedt and the companies involved are working flat out.

Once the pool opens, the swimming season will last until August 31. The pool will be open Tuesdays to Fridays from 1pm to 7pm and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 7pm. The admission price will not change and will remain at 2 euros for children and 4 euros for adults (reduced 3 euros). In 2026, there will once again be 10-person tickets, which cost 12.50 euros for children and 30 euros for adults (reduced 22 euros), as well as annual tickets, which cost 50 euros per child and 80 euros per adult (reduced 70 euros).
