The Wolmirstedt City Festival 2026 is in the starting blocks. The town’s biggest event will take place this year from Friday, June 19, to Sunday, June 21, on the castle grounds. The cultural supporting program has been planned and has many highlights in store. For example, guests can look forward to the winner of the RTL show “Let’s Dance”, Anna-Carina Woitschak. The pop singer will be performing on the open-air stage on Sunday, June 21, from 6 pm.
The artist Hansy Vogt will also be at the Wolmirstedt town festival: whether as a presenter on various days, as a ventriloquist or as his well-known character “Frau Wäber”. Magician Peter Valance, the band “Zeitlos”, the OK-Live Ensemble, the band “3/4 Zwööölwe”, the ensemble “Kolorit” and many more will also be performing.
The Wolmirstedt town festival will be opened on Friday, June 19, at 4:30 p.m. by Mayor Mike Steffens. He will also give the starting signal for the Ohrelauf, which has become a tradition in recent years and marks the start of the event in sporting terms. The run is for a good cause: the money raised will be used to support the “Blaue Nasen” association.
On all days of the city festival, the Wesemann fairground will be on site with various carousels and rides as well as food and drink. On Saturday and Sunday there will also be a children’s festival organized by the “Wolmirstedt Bürgerhaus” cultural association in the castle garden. A town festival rally for children between the ages of 3 and 12 is also planned again – it starts at the library, which will be open for the town festival.
