Samsweger Straße will be completely closed for three months
A complete road closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Wolmirstedt: Samsweger Straße will be closed from the intersection with Heinrich-Heine-Straße to the roundabout. This is due to the construction work currently underway on Heinrich-Heine-Straße, which is scheduled to extend into a section of Lindhorster Weg.
As part of this project, new utility lines must be laid in the intersection area. For example, sewer construction work is currently underway.
The full closure is scheduled to remain in effect until December 16, 2026. The corresponding detours will be signposted. For through traffic, the detour will run via Federal Highway 189 and Colbitzer Straße; in the opposite direction, it will run via Federal Highway 189, Jersleber Straße, and Geschwister-Scholl-Straße.
Bus traffic will be rerouted via Straße der Deutschen Einheit, where there will be a strict no-stopping zone for the entire duration of the construction work. The short section of Samsweger Straße leading to Lindhorster Weg will become a one-way street. In addition, the speed limit there will be 30.
