The state of Saxony-Anhalt will be repairing the roadway on State Route 44 between Friday, September 18, and Monday, September 28. This will result in two consecutive full road closures.
On September 18 and 19, the L44 will be under construction on the stretch running through Farsleben. The official detour runs through Loitsche, Heinrichsberg, Glindenberg, and Wolmirstedt, and back. From September 21 through 28, the section of the L44 between Wolmirstedt and Farsleben will be next. Traffic will be rerouted via Mose and Wolmirstedt, and vice versa. The detours will be clearly marked. Truck drivers, in particular, should pay close attention to additional signage, as in some cases they will be limited to a speed of 30 kilometers per hour on certain roads during the closure.
