The budget of the town of Wolmirstedt came into force on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. It had previously been confirmed by the municipal supervisory authority of the Börde district and then put on public display.
The budget shows a deficit of around one million euros. This deficit is mainly due to higher costs for materials and services. The district of Börde has nevertheless approved the budget of the town of Wolmirstedt without the requirement of mandatory consolidation, but only due to the positive earnings reserves of previous years.
