Bundeswehr brings tanks from Zielitz back to the training camp
The Army Combat Training Center in Gardelegen is planning its next so-called road march on Monday, February 24, 2025. Large-scale equipment will be transported from the K+S potash plant in Zielitz to the Altmark training area. The infantry fighting vehicles of the 2nd company of the training unit will return from the Jägerbrück training area. The start is at 12 noon at K+S, then the route goes via Zielitz, Mose, the A14 and the district road 1142 back to the training area.
According to the Combat Training Center, the Panzergrenadier Battalion 411 will also be practising in the Altmark in March. The soldiers from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern quadrangle will drive the 25 Marders and 2 armored recovery vehicles to the training area on March 7, 2025 at 10 pm. The march will also be secured by the military police from Burg. The march will start at 10 p.m. on March 7 at K+S in Zielitz and will again take the route via Zielitz, Mose, the A14 and the 1142 district road to the Planken military camp.
