Children’s day party at the Diesterweg after-school care center

After-school children are surprised with table football for Children’s Day

The staff at the Adolph-Diesterweg elementary school in Wolmirstedt organized a great children’s day party. The girls and boys who are looked after there were able to let off steam at various stations.

There were great games for them, fresh waffles, giant soap bubbles, tattoos, craft and painting activities, a fruit and vegetable buffet, music and much more. The after-school children were also surprised by the after-school club. The girls and boys had wished for a table football table, which they actually received on Children’s Day and were able to try out straight away. The members of the association also brought a new carpet for the after-school care room.

“The after-school care team and all the after-school children at Adolph-Diesterweg Primary School would like to thank the Förderverein for the delicious waffles and the great surprise for Children’s Day,” explained Britt Engel, head of the “Hort Stadt Wol-mirstedt” day care center. The Children’s Day celebration was a complete success for everyone involved – but especially for the after-school children.
