Doris Bunk goes into retirement
Doris Bunk, the town planner of the town of Wolmirstedt for many years, has retired. Ms. Bunk had worked in Wolmirstedt’s town hall since 1991 and played a key role in shaping the town’s development since the post-reunification period.
The city planner was bid farewell by her colleagues with many congratulations and gifts, as well as a tear or two. On behalf of the members of the City Council, Deputy Chairman of the City Council Fritz-Georg Meyer thanked Doris Bunk at the most recent meeting of the body for her consistently good cooperation and her outstanding work on behalf of the city.
After 34 years in Wolmirstedt’s municipal administration, Doris Bunk happily retired. She had trained her successor Sophie Pötzsch over the past few weeks and is now looking forward to having more time for her private life. Mayor Marlies Cassuhn also wished Doris Bunk all the best for her retirement. She also had words of appreciation for her work, for her collegial and friendly behavior among colleagues, with citizens and with the various authorities. Marlies Cassuhn explained that Doris Bunk was also characterized by reliability in her work.
