Boulevard will be closed from November 3, 2025
August-Bebel-Straße in Wolmirstedt will be fully closed at house number 24 (Wolmirstedter Wasser- und Abwasserzweckverband) from November 3 to November 21, 2025. The reason for this is the laying of a district heating pipeline. Pedestrians and cyclists will also no longer be able to cross the boulevard at this point during this time.
The weekly market, which always takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays on August-Bebel-Straße, will still be set up. Traders who normally stand at number 24 will move further back onto the boulevard during the construction work. Pedestrians and cyclists can still reach the street via Samsweger Straße or Friedensstraße.
