The election notification letters currently being sent out in the town of Wolmirstedt for the local elections are invalid due to a technical transmission error on the part of the service provider.
Postal vote applications that have already been submitted or submitted online are therefore also invalid.
The city of Wolmirstedt apologizes for this error.
In the next few days, citizens will receive new, revised election notifications.
The population of the town of Wolmirstedt is requested to submit postal vote applications again or to submit them online.
As a precautionary measure, it is pointed out that multiple elections are excluded by numerous control mechanisms.
