“The Wolmirstedt kitchen horn”

In this lecture, the forest restaurant and the former local recreation area will be presented using many photographs.
By the beginning of the 20th century, the Küchenhorn had quickly become a popular destination for Wolmirstedt residents thanks to the numerous events held in its idyllic alluvial forest.
The resulting forest restaurant “Küchenhorn” was very popular with the public and became a popular meeting place for many local clubs,
In the 1950s, the “Küchenhorn” restaurant was further expanded and, due to its proximity to the Mittelland Canal, coffee trips were organized by the “Weiße Flotte” Magdeburg.
