Managing Director (m/f/d)

• As the sole managing director of Stadtwerke Wolmirstedt, you have overall entrepreneurial responsibility. The aim is to successfully continue the existing business and further develop the company, taking into account the corresponding responsibility for sales and earnings.
• You will be responsible for the operational management of the company’s technical and commercial divisions for the electricity, gas and district heating business areas, including the new business fields.
• Your tasks will include developing a sustainable, climate-neutral and profitable corporate strategy. This includes, in particular, the development of new business concepts in the field of renewable energies and the use of digitalization to increase efficiency.
• With your modern management style, you challenge and encourage your employees to work independently and to continuously develop themselves.
• Together with your team, you set the right impulses in sales, marketing and procurement and explore opportunities to achieve the company’s goals with strategic partners.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics or engineering.
• You have several years of management and leadership experience in the energy industry.
• Your particular strengths are initiative and decisiveness as well as the ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees.
• You have already gained experience in dealing with municipal committees and political decision-makers as well as in recording, implementing and bundling the various political stakeholder interests.
• Her social skills and ability to represent the company to customers, shareholders and strategic partners are very well developed.
• You have a talent for organization, a high sense of responsibility and cost awareness as well as the ability to assert yourself. Creative and innovative thinking, an ecological attitude and a high level of identification with the long-term nature of the task round off your profile.
