The town of Wolmirstedt is planning to build a new fire station to meet the needs of the existing Glindenberg volunteer fire department at its current location in Glindenberg. The new single-storey building will be completely barrier-free. It will house 4 fire department parking spaces, modern changing rooms and sanitary facilities for the adult and youth fire departments, offices and technical rooms as well as a training room. In future, the training room will also be used for disaster control and for local council meetings. New car parking spaces will be created outside.
The planning is being developed in close cooperation between the FFW, the local mayor and the administration. Based on the building permit that has already been granted, the implementation planning and preparation of the tendering process is currently underway.
