Announcement of a general ruling under animal health law for protection against avian influenza (classical fowl plague)

1. The general ruling under animal health law for protection against avian influenza (classical fowl plague) dated 24.10.2025 is revoked.
2. The general ruling under animal health law for protection against avian influenza (classical fowl plague) dated 28.10.2025 is revoked.
3. This general ruling shall enter into force on the day following its publication and must be implemented immediately.

I. Justification

The revocation of the animal health general rulings under numbers 1 and 2 of this general ruling is based on an updated risk assessment by the Office for Health and Consumer Protection of the District of Börde and Art. 67 of Regulation (EU)
No. 2020/687.
In accordance with Sections 41 (4) sentence 4 and 43 (1) of the Administrative Procedure Act (VwVfG), the date of publication and thus the date of entry into force of a general ruling may be set as the day following the publication.
