Salt landscape opens in Wolmirstedt’s city center: relaxation in the salt grotto or with a water pressure jet massage

“Relaxation and recuperation for body and soul”: this is the promise of a new business that recently opened its doors in Wolmirstedt. Saskia Skopp, who comes from Samswegen and lives in Haldensleben, has opened “Salzlandschaft Wolmirstedt” at August-Bebel-Straße 33, diagonally opposite the town hall. Mayor Marlies Cassuhn warmly congratulated her on the inauguration. “I am delighted that you have chosen Wolmirstedt and wish you every success with your project,” she said as she presented Saskia Skopp with a gift on behalf of the town and officially opened the store together with the owner.
The offer in the new store essentially extends to two rooms. There is the salt grotto and the North Sea room. In the salt grotto, guests can experience “the cleansing power of salty air”, promises Saskia Skopp in her flyer. Brine is nebulized in the salt grotto, where there is also a small graduation house. This creates a unique microclimate that is reminiscent of a fresh sea breeze, clears the airways and ensures deep and relaxed breathing. A visit to the salt cave therefore offers relief, especially for allergy sufferers, asthmatics and people with respiratory diseases.
However, a visit there can also be purely for relaxation. Saskia Skopp also offers yoga, Qigong, singing bowl meditation and even play afternoons for children and babies in her salt cave, for whom the salty air can also be beneficial to their health. In the North Sea room of the “Wolmirstedt Salt Landscape” there is also a lounger for a so-called hydrojet massage. This type of water pressure jet massage, which can be adapted to personal needs and enjoyed in everyday clothing, is designed to relieve tension, loosen hardening and tighten the tissue.
Appointments at the “Salzlandschaft Wolmirstedt” can be made by e-mail to info@salzlandschaft-wolmirstedt.de or by telephone on 039201/353997. For the time being, the wellness store will be open from Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
