A sidewalk along Geschwister-Scholl-Straße in Wolmirstedt will be closed during the next few days. From the Geschwister-Scholl-Straße/Samsweger Straße traffic circle in the direction of Elbeu on the right-hand side, the sidewalk has to be closed at various points because construction site entrances and exits are being set up there.
Pedestrians are requested to cross to the other side of the road in accordance with the signs. Pedestrian bridges will be installed to ensure safe crossing of the road. Drivers should note that pedestrians may cross the road more frequently as a result of the closure. The closure is expected to last until April 30.
The construction site access roads are needed for a plot of land on which a new Aldi supermarket is to be built later. The construction work has not yet begun. Preparatory construction work is currently underway, including the relocation of a main supply line.
