Special opening times for postal voters

Special opening hours for postal voters before the mayoral election in Wolmirstedt

Just over a week before the mayoral election in Wolmirstedt, the city council is no longer sending out postal voting documents. The reason for this is that postal delivery times are too long – the election documents might reach voters too late.

Instead, City Electoral Officer Nancy Heynemann has decided on special opening hours for the week before the election on September 7, 2025. These special opening hours apply exclusively to postal voting, when postal voting documents can be collected from the town hall or postal votes can be cast directly on site. Other requests will not be processed during these times.

The following special opening hours have been set up:

    Monday, September 1: 9 a.m. to noon
    Wednesday, September 3: 9 a.m. to noon
    Thursday, September 4: 9 a.m. to noon
    Friday, September 5: 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
    Saturday, September 6: 9 a.m. to noon

Voters can also come to the town hall during regular opening hours to vote by post:

    Tuesdays: 9 to 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 to 5.30 p.m.
    Thursdays: 1.30 to 3.30 p.m.
    Fridays: 9 to 11.30 a.m.
