City of Wolmirstedt calls for public participation in municipal heating planning
Building Energy Act, Heat Planning Act, Heating Act: When it comes to municipal heat planning and all the associated regulations, citizens can sometimes despair. This is because the topic is extensive and resembles an impenetrable jungle here and there.
But municipal heating planning doesn’t have to be as complicated as it seems for citizens. Especially not if the experts in the respective town have already done good preparatory work. This is the case in Wolmirstedt. Here, municipal heating planning has already been put on a solid footing together with a specialist company and driven forward in several workshops together with stakeholders such as municipal utilities and housing developers.
One important part is still missing: cooperation with the residents of the city and its districts. After all, they are the ones who will ultimately be actively involved in replacing heating systems, using innovative heating methods and much more. That is why the town of Wolmirstedt is planning a workshop on citizen participation on Wednesday, November 26, starting at 6 p.m. in the council chamber of the town hall.
All citizens of Wolmirstedt are invited to take part. At the event, the city administration will present all the facts and figures that have been compiled so far and would like to know from the participants what problems they see in the implementation of municipal heat planning, what they would like to implement and where the challenges lie.
The city of Wolmirstedt is looking forward to entering into a fruitful exchange with you!
