Anke Gärtner becomes the new managing director of the Wolmirstedt housing association

Anke Gärtner will become the new managing director of the Wolmirstedt housing association (WWG) from March 1, 2025. This was decided by the Wolmirstedt City Council at its most recent meeting on February 20.
The 46-year-old, who is married and has two children, has been working at WWG since 2011. She has been Head of Financial Accounting there since 2015 and was also appointed an authorized signatory in 2020, making her Deputy Managing Director.
After the previous managing director, Klaus Jaenecke, left WWG on December 31, 2024, Anke Gärtner took over the management of the housing association on an interim basis. The City Council and Mayor Marlies Cassuhn are delighted that WWG now has a new Managing Director in Anke Gärtner.
