Swimming pool reopens on May 15

The Wolmirstedt swimming pool starts the new outdoor pool season on May 15, 2025.

The swimming pools at the Wolmirstedt swimming pool are spick and span and already filled with water. But Wolmirstedt’s swimming supervisor Stefan Grahn, lifeguard Andreas Harwig and Karl-Heinz Mohrmann, who regularly assists with the necessary work, are still hard at work. Since the last outdoor pool season, which ended on September 1, 2024, a lot has had to be done so that bathers can swim happily and safely again.

“The technical system is running, that’s good. Water samples will be taken soon,” explains swimming supervisor Stefan Grahn. Parts of the playground are currently being replaced: two longitudinal beams and two platforms had to be replaced. Wolmirstedt council employees will later mow the lawns and carry out minor work before the Wolmirstedt swimming pool can start its 29th season.

It opens its doors again on May 15. It is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 1 pm to 7 pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 7 pm. Admission prices remain the same as last year: children pay 2 euros a day, adults 4 euros. An annual ticket costs 50 euros for children and 80 euros for adults. 10-person tickets are available for children for 12.50 euros and for adults for 30 euros. There are also discounts for pensioners, the unemployed, welfare recipients, students and apprentices.
