The mayoral election in Wolmirstedt will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Many electoral assistants are needed on the electoral boards to help run this election. The Wolmirstedt electoral office is calling on people to register as volunteer electoral assistants.
In particular, electoral assistants are urgently needed for a possible run-off election, which would take place on September 21, 2025.
As a member of the election committee, you have the opportunity to experience democracy at first hand, to help decide the future of the town of Wolmirstedt and to meet new people in the process!
Prerequisite
The members of the election committee should be appointed from among the eligible voters of the municipality, if possible from among the eligible voters of the electoral district, and must have reached the age of 16. The deputy election chairman and the secretary are also members of the election committee.
The tasks include
- to check citizens’ voting notifications and ID cards.
- to check voter eligibility using the electoral roll.
- to determine the election result.
The polling stations will be open on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. The town of Wolmirstedt pays a “refreshment allowance” for working on an election committee.
