The state election in Saxony-Anhalt will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026.
Many election workers are needed to help conduct this election. The Wolmirstedt City Election Office is calling on people to sign up as volunteer election workers.
As a member of the election committee, you’ll have the chance to experience democracy firsthand, play an active role in shaping the future, and meet new people along the way!
Prerequisite
You must be at least 18 years old on Election Day, a German citizen, and a resident of Saxony-Anhalt. You can expect an interesting and responsible role that is essential to the proper conduct of the election. All election workers will receive a stipend for their service.
The tasks include
• Verify voters’ election notifications and identification documents.
• Verify voter eligibility using the voter registry.
• to certify the election results.
Polling stations will be open on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The city of Wolmirstedt pays a “stipend” to those who serve on an election board.
