Register now for “Stadtradeln 2026”: Wolmirstedt is participating again
The town of Wolmirstedt will once again participate in “Stadtradeln,” the world’s largest cycling campaign, in 2026. From August 24 to September 13, 2026, residents are encouraged to cycle as many kilometers as possible.
“Stadtradeln” is a competition organized by the Climate Alliance in which participants aim to make as many everyday trips as possible by bike over a 21-day period. The goal is to promote cycling, advance climate protection, and improve the quality of life in local communities.
Anyone who lives, works, is active in a club, or attends school in Wolmirstedt and its surrounding neighborhoods can participate on behalf of the town. Those interested can register at https://www.stadtradeln.de/registrieren, where they can join an existing municipal team or start their own team.
After Wolmirstedt participated in “Stadtradeln” for the first time last year, the town is hoping for many participants again this year—whether they sign up as individuals or as groups with neighbors, coworkers, or in any other conceivable combination.
The STADTRADELN 2026 campaign is supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs and the Working Group for Bicycle-Friendly Municipalities in Saxony-Anhalt (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fahrradfreundliche Kommunen Sachsen-Anhalt e.V.). The city of Wolmirstedt is participating at the same time and in coordination with the Börde district and other municipalities in the district.
