Public announcement
Implementation of the German Building Code (BauGB);
“3rd amendment to the land use plan of the town of Wolmirstedt
here: Public participation pursuant to Section 3 (2) BauGB
At its meeting on 27.11.2025, the Wolmirstedt town council approved the draft of the 3rd amendment to the land use plan of the town of Wolmirstedt with the associated explanatory statement including the environmental report and the concept for controlling large-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic systems for public display in accordance with Section 3 (2) BauGB determined.
The aim of this land use plan procedure is to update and amend the existing plan in order to ensure the further development of the town of Wolmirstedt. In particular, development plans, project and development plans and other statutes that have been drawn up in the meantime are to be taken into account. Higher-level state and regional planning will also be taken into account during the preparation process. Furthermore, new settlement areas, especially residential, commercial and special construction areas, are designated for the further development of the town of Wolmirstedt.
The coordinated overall concept of the land use plan is a preparatory urban land-use plan that also takes into account landscape planning and green design issues for the entire municipality.
A concept for controlling ground-mounted PV systems in the town of Wolmirstedt is part of the land use plan.
This concept for controlling large-scale ground-mounted PV systems implements the requirements of state and regional planning at the level of preparatory urban land use planning (land use plan). It aims to concentrate the construction of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems in locations that are compatible with urban development in order to achieve controlled and orderly development.
The spatial scope of the land use plan covers the entire town of Wolmirstedt with the districts of Elbeu, Mose, Glindenberg and Farsleben as well as the core town of Wolmirstedt.
The area of application is shown with a thick black line in the attached plan sketch.

The draft of the land use plan for the town of Wolmirstedt, including the plan drawing as an overall plan and the plan of the individual municipalities and the explanatory memorandum including the environmental report on the land use plan and the concept for the control of large-scale ground-mounted PV systems, including plans and explanatory report, is available for inspection from
