With the turnaround in security policy, national and alliance defense has once again become the Bundeswehr’s most important task. During exercise 8/26, high-intensity combat is practised at the Army Combat Training Center, with battle tanks and other combat vehicles frequently driving along the Heidestrasse. Too dangerous for civilian traffic.
Access to Hütten and the Planken military camp will be possible from the direction of the B71.
