In order to get to know her constituency even better, the Member of the Bundestag Dr. Franziska Kersten visited the city of Wolmirstedt on 31.01.2023.

After the welcome in the town hall, an exchange on various topics took place with the mayor, Mrs. Cassuhn and her deputy, at the same time head of finance in the city administration, Mr. Kohlrausch. There was an interesting exchange of information and opinions on current federal and local politics, environmental issues, culture and education. A short walk around the city then led to the castle domain. Dr. Kersten found words of appreciation for the voluntary work in the community center, for the exhibitions and working methods in the museum and also for the commitment of all those who help to maintain this infrastructure.

Afterwards, Dr. Kersten and the mayor took part in an information event for the schools of the city and the surrounding area, in which the subject of Interpyro as an educational project was presented.

Finally, there was a compliment to the city of Wolmirstedt. Dr. Kersten was pleased that she was able to get to know a livable small town better on this day. And all the citizens who were able to meet Dr. Kersten that day had the impression of having met a smart, committed, down-to-earth and interested woman.
