Current planning status is the focus of DialogMobil stops
The SuedOstLink+ is a planned direct current connection between Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt. It is to connect the Klein Rogahn search area west of Schwerin with the Börde district. During an information tour with a DialogMobil, the project team of the transmission system operator 50Hertz presents the current plans. At 14 stops along the current corridor network, questions will be answered about the approval process, further opportunities for participation in the process, direct current as well as construction technology.
The 50Hertz DialogMobil makes a stop in:
▪ Tangerhütte at the district adult education center,
on Monday, August 28, from 14:00 to 15:30,
Stendaler Straße 2, 39517 Tangerhütte,
▪ Potzehne auf dem Kirchenparkplatz,
on Tuesday, August 29, from 18:00 to 19:30,
Am Dorn 2, 39638 Gardelegen, OT Potzehne,
▪ Niederndodeleben vor der Turnhalle,
on Wednesday, August 30, from 14:00 to 15:30,
Goethestraße 14, 39167 Hohe Börde, OT Niederndodeleben.
The DC link is to be implemented throughout as an underground cable. It is expected to transmit 2,000 megawatts, which is equivalent to the output of 600 to 700 wind turbines running at full load. As direct current, energy can be transmitted over long distances particularly efficiently and with good controllability.
