Fiber optic expansion in Wolmirstedt continues to pick up speed
15.09.2023, Wolmirstedt. Deutsche Glasfaser installed three fiber optic main distribution frames in Wolmirstedt on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. This is where all the fiber optic connections in the village converge. With the fiber-optic expansion already underway, the digital provider is working with the city to set the course for future-proof digital coverage of Elbeu and Wolmirstedt.
“We are pleased that with the fiber optic main distributors it is now visible that the fiber optic expansion continues to progress quickly and steadily,” said Denis Rosenkranz, Deutsche Glasfaser’s project manager for construction. “The distributors are the heart of the fiber optic network in Wolmirstedt and an important prerequisite for ensuring that citizens will soon be able to benefit from a future-proof broadband supply.”
Roland Waleska, Project Manager FttH Sales Management of Deutsche Glasfaser informs that interested citizens can still opt for a fiber optic connection by signing a contract with Deutsche Glasfaser at the existing special conditions. Contracts for the use of the connection can be issued by telephone on 02861 8133 400 from Monday to Friday between 8:00 – 20:00 and on Saturdays between 09:00 – 18:00.
