In accordance with the Water Act for the State of Saxony-Anhalt § 94 para. 7 valid in the version from 01.04.2011 last amended by Article 21 of the Act of October 11, 2025 (GVBl. LSA p. 492), the dike sections of the municipality/city will be inspected between 22.04. and 30.04.2026 as well as on 06.05.2026.
The Saxony-Anhalt State Office for Environmental Protection (LAU), as the specialist authority responsible for nature conservation pursuant to Section 2 Nos. 1 and 4 of the Nature Conservation Act of the State of Saxony-Anhalt (NatSchG LSA), intends to carry out the mapping and evaluation of species, biotopes and habitat types in connection with the fulfillment of the following tasks:

All children who reach the age of 6 by June 30, 2027 will be required to attend school at the start of the following school year 2027/2028. In accordance with a circular issued by the Ministry of Education, they must be registered at their local public elementary school by March 1, 2026.

Based on the audited and approved results of the 2024 annual financial statements of the City of Wolmirstedt, the Mayor of the City of Wolmirstedt was granted unqualified discharge at the meeting of the City Council on November 27, 2025.
